Meta Materials (NASDAQ:MMAT) -5.5% post-market Monday after disclosing it appointed former Array Technologies CEO Jim Fusaro as its new CEO effective immediately, after the board removed George Palikaras as President and CEO without explanation.
Fusaro was Array’s CEO June 2018 to April 2022, after previously managing a number of large-scale global businesses at Avnet Inc., Honeywell Performance Materials & Technology and Aerospace of Honeywell International, and Amkor Technology.
Fusaro also was appointed to Meta Materials’ (MMAT) board, effective October 10.
Palikaras was the founding President and CEO of Meta Materials (MMAT).
